Interview with Purple Hat Publishing's author, Burgundie

A conversation with Burgundie, author of A Change Gon' Come,
one of today's most dynamic contemporary authors

Excerpt:
"Taj was twenty-one years old and had lived her entire life; it seemed, for everybody else. She didn’t know what it was like to only have Taj to take care of. She’d already experienced everything she could in the streets and she had tired herself out, searching for ways to gain means and discard her reality. She felt dead inside for a long time and decided that it was time to live again. It was time to let herself feel joy, pride, accomplishment- even fear and pain. She didn’t know the way. She figured maybe she could change and become the person she wanted to with this move; not just a mental one, but a physical move."

It is a typical work day: planning layout designs, editing and modifying content and the occasional Facebook break; but this day is different, this day I make a surprisingly pleasant discovery... a discovery that not only reconnects me to a dear friend, but a new and upcoming, gifted author named Burgundie...

Montique:

First let me just say how proud I am of your accomplishments.

Burgundie:

Thanks you!

Montique:
